The adjuster's real job
An insurance adjuster's role is to resolve your claim for as little as possible. Friendliness is a tool, not a favor.
Avoid the recorded statement trap
You are not required to give the other driver's insurer a recorded statement. Innocent-sounding answers are frequently used to minimize injuries or shift blame.
Don't accept the first offer
Early offers are almost always low and arrive before the full extent of your injuries is known. Once you accept and sign a release, you cannot reopen the claim.
